Williams Wheels Paint code

Is there a paint code for the Williams wheels. Im gonna get a set done buy my friend who does all my painting.

does anyone know the colour, if not i might take my original cap and get the paint place to match it ;)

eye its AKZO Nobel 7E81208, for sickens or lesonal codes its R9312.

I have had a wheel resprayed within the last week using the paint code AKZO Nobel 7E81208.
The guy it was hard to track and mix as they dont usually do speedlines.

Looks pretty much a spot on match to my others. i'll try and get a pic up tonight.

Just need to get them dipped or sandblasted first.

are the std wheels painted or powdercoated, wondering if paint stripper will take all the paint off.

Seriously though youth I can get it mixed for you in 300ml & 500ml spray tins but they're not cheap that way. The paint shop that does them supply Synters BMW with all there paints and they are the shiznitz and they'll whip you that code up for fun.

i got subaru gold paint for my wheels cos it was about £15 cheaper than the original renault paint for a 1/4 litre.

my supplier told me its a good enuf match.
iirc there is a few different shades to chose from.

My wheels were refurbed in June. The colourcode was Akzo R9312:

The colourmatch: the left cup is the painted, the right one is the original

So, perhaps R9312 is slightly lighter than the original, and not so "deep", but enough good match.

how much did it cost u ..all in ?

The overall cost was about HUF 110 000 ~ GBP 355

including:
8x balancing, 4* sanding and turning HUF 47 000 ~ GBP 152
Paint: 0,8 dl HUF 11650 ~ GBP 38
Painting: 4 wheels HUF 50 000 ~ GBP 162

(+ a whole tank of fuel)

right sorry to dredge this up from page 4 but im sick of having 2 tatty turbines on the front and 2 while willy's on the back.

i took the paint codes and the mix sheet, that was posted in another thread into 2 different paint shops and they both said 'what do you expect me to do with this, these numbers mean nothing to me'

has anyone else had this response when trying to get hold of this paint?
im really stuck and ive got 2 wheels with no tyres with polished lips waiting to be finished so i can do the other 2. :evil:

How do they work in a paint shop if they don't recognise a standard coding system? :roll:

mines are powdercoatedand i got an exact match the centre cap in the picture is a brand new genuine renault one and the match is spot on. The cap hasn't been painted. Just put them on ebay too as im breaking my car. Wheels have never ever been fitted.
