I have been trying to lower mine today with Zed form RSC, try'd everything but no luck, one side was extremely seized, took one out try'd hiting it through..didn't budge a mm........Mines an open style btw

Going to have one last try before I look for a new rear axel ....torch its ass, lube it up and twat it even more lol

If I get a new axel ...which should I get?????

Is a williams torsion bar open or closed .....or does it depend on year?

I've heard this open/closed business before - what difference does it make?

I've never noticed a difference? :?

I'd expect most, if not all to be open...at least most of the ones i've seen have been.

Get a renault extra axle though - they're a direct fit apparently and are far stiffer. I copied a post from CS onto here a while ago where some foreign member mentioned it...

Good plan .....but i need to get mine out to fit extra ones

I think closed torsion bars is a ph2 / ph3 thing.....which is why i ask what a willy had :?

What do you mean by out? As i understand it, the extra replacement will be the whole axle (torsion bar, stub arms etc) so you'd just be unbolting your seized 16v effort and whacking on the van one? :?
