Well previous to this thread I made a thread up about noisy tappets.
Finally got round to checking it out this weekend wit a friend and we've found the problem. The exhaust side of the head isn't getting anywhere near enough the amount of oil it should be through the feeds, doh!
Anybody had any experience of this before? We though it may be the oil pump itself but the oil pumps closer to the exhaust side than the inlet side so if it were weak surely it would be vice versa?? Either that or the headgasket has maybe been changed in the past and not be lined up correctly and maybe blocking off an oil channel?
Just wondering what the best option is to go for? Ideally the cheapest will be the best for me personally lol! I'm thinking if I first get a headgasket set and whip the head off, flush the bottom end out and try that?
