Brake cleaner or if not carb cleaner. Just rub with a cloth, obv don't use anything rough.
Ok, I managed to spray the rocker bits before I left for work with carb cleaner. I'll let it soak a bit and have a go at it tonight :D
Was sooo much crap on the rocker cover. I've cleaned it so much I am considering polishing it now!
This carb cleaner really stinks....
Another quick question: When the head is off and I am cleaning the block, I dont really want crap going into the waterways etc do I? Is tere a good way to seal them off?
i usually stick little bits of tissue in the oil and waterways, just make sure you have something to get it back out with
