Does this actually make a big difference?

I know some people have quick cars on here but it only really adds about 25bhp - and I want to know how noticable this is.

I want a bit more power now but it just seems so hard to extract much gains from N/a.

Some people say it does, others say not really.

Any before or after speedo runs etc.

25bhp? not from what i've seen.it really depends on what condition the engine is to start with.

Not a big difference imo....nana with cams remap was not faster than my other hybrid with off the shelf chip and stnd cams

I still cannot decide.

Something like a Ford Focus RS or potentially Evo is still a year away yet I could chuck a couple of grand into the Williams now so cannot decide to save or get a quick fix :(

imo its not worth the money, unless your using the car for track purposes. you do get a noticeable amount of extra power but its higher up in the rev range. to make the best use of cams u end up revving the balls off it. for every day use id prefer to have saved the £1000-£1500 and gone without

cams + headwork made a pleasant power increase/difference on mine but as said, you need to be revving its tits off to really feel it.

I'm happy to do that. Only really build the revs when I am pushing hard anyhow, don't often drive 'semi-fast'.
