1. Has anyone got any data on underbonnet temperatures? (particularly from different locations?

2. What reduction in underbonnet temp can i expect from wrapping my manifold?

3. Is a ceramic coated manifold going to reduce underbonnet temps more than wrap? (can you do both to synergistically reduce temps?)

wrapping is becomming a little old hat and causes its own problems.

If you can, send a manifold off to the states and you can get it coated to a much higher standard and the choice of coatings is very high. A good ceramic will be much better than wrap, last longer and keep temps down in the bay more.

I wouldnt run both together, pointless.

I seem to remember nick read doing a bit of investigation into under bonnet temps accross on CS a while ago. I think he said that a vent positioned similar to the maxi race cars would reduce temps dramatically (something to do with the air pressure)...i guess if you could afford one of those all problems would be solved...

Nick Hill has one on his car, but im sure Chipwizard must have two.

I remember reading somewhere that someone wrapped the maifold and it massivly reduced the under bonnet temps, something i will do when i do my conversion
