I'm after a double sided sticker to attach my alarm aerial to my windscreen and can't find ant strong enough?

Also need something to stick my ipod nano holder to the interior plastic, but again, can't find anything strong enough.

I came across problem before. Any glue that worked for a period of time melted when it got hot - or it was too rigid and snapped. My advice? Clear silicon sealant, worked a treat - stuck it fine, plus it has a bit of give so it wont snap. Plus it peels off. :)

im just thinking it might discolour the plastic. I dont see why it should though. Failing that, there are little rectangular strips that are double sided with adhesive. Theyre pretty strong and should do the trick nicely. Available from any stationers or pound shop i shud think.
Like a thick (bout 4mm) strips or little pieces of squashy foam with adhesive on either side. I stuck a boost gauge on my dash with these no problems. Need to push down hard though

might be worth looking for a double sided tape which can be used for rear view mirrors, just make sure the glass is 100% clean and dry, no traces of greasy fingers etc lol

as long as you clean the glass properly double sided pads should be fine, proper ones that is, use the ones that are for number plates

if you have a Motor World handy, look in the AutoBar section, part code 299 IIRC

3M makes an industrial double-sided taped generically known as VHB (Very High Bond). Those will work for your application. Should be able to get small quantities off ebay.

I use a holder that has a sucker that sticks to the windscreen works perfectly.
