had a horrible noise coming from my front driverside wheel on inspection the wheel nuts were loose!! i tightened them up but two of them wont tighten!! suppose the threads probably gone. what do ineed to buy to fix this problem? is it the wheel hub?

If the nuts were loose it might have worn away the seat on the wheel.

Take the nuts out and have a look. If they look ok then its the hub and you'll need another one.

If the threads have gone in the hub that will need replacing but also look at the wheel while its off and check that hasn't worn.

are williams hubs the same as the 16v ones? and how mcuh roughly?

Yes, they are the same.
I would say about £20.
