I'm after a decent full rollcage, preferably from demon Tweeks, as I can get a discount hopefully, any ideas what to look for? I don't really understand the rollcage options

Also I fancy getting some cams for the willy, whatvshould I be looking for? I'm new into this sort of thing  they need to be suitable for road use. Cheers guys/girls :)

Oh and maxi, a weld in one to go around the dash and to use without the rear seats. Don't know what you mean by triangulated though  thanks alot for your help and time 8)

hi mate..

most weld in ones go through the dash i,ll see what i can find..

triangulated means that it goes through to the front struts

something i didnt realise when i ordered mine...the weld in from OMP is actually better than the bolt in...it isnt JUST the fitment which changes.
The weld in has larger diameter rear section, and roof bars, and door bars, but also doesnt split/join on the tops==stronger.

worth bearing in mind.

Tweakes worked out to be cheapest...I phoned quite a few places.

OMP do a few versions if you look on there website, they also do a mk1 cup spec cage which goes through the dash etc

Hi,my willy has a omp cage and my brother has just brought a omp cage of ebay for his 205gti (350quid) its an omp site, its a bolt in one but i welded it in you can also buy the bolt in door bars and a removeble diagnal as an option, as for cams ive just put sum 270 piper cams on verniers and a remap which are quite good fun and not to aggressive and dont wheelspin everywhere plus it just about idles...ish.prob wouldt go much bigger if its a road car.-my thoughts anyway!
