Well, as per every other thread of late: The bolt is stuck. It WONT budge at all. Its now getting dark, I have had enough now. I will try one more time tomorrow to get it offand itf it fails I am scrapping the car as I cant afford to get more tools or have it sent off anywhere.

Get a big 1/2" breaker bar, put the car in 3rd or higher and get someone to stand on the brake pedal, then if the bars big enough it should go

Cheers, the problem is access, its incredibly hard getting leverage. I will have to take the entire suspension out, brakes etc and possibly drivers wing just to get a good go at it with a big bar :(

I've pretty much decided to abandon the project now anyway and sell it.

Surely you can get an extension bar in at it?

I mean so that you can get enough leverage btw (we need an edit button, lol)

just use an extra extension bar or two to bring it out if the wheel arch!

you dont need to rip all the brakes off mate, just get it high up enough to give u decent leverage with a big bar from underneath

Whereabouts are you??

If a big bar fails then get a cheapie £20 impact gun from machine mart, works a treat
