Well mine autolocks after about 10 minutes of the car being unlocked etc. Also i would like to change the immobilisor arming time cos its set to somerthing daft like 15 seconds so im always pressing the alarm button to start the car etc.

to cancell out the 15second immobaliser...there should be a toggle switch under the passenger side dash....flick that and it will disarm your preset period so it never expires. (look where the fuse box is)

Yea i know about the valet mode switch but i would rather not use that... i would much rather program it. I know it can be done since when i was FCS TheJesus has his autolock set to something daft like 30 seconds.

You might find that disables the whole alarm.. did on mine, hah.

Well according to the instalation manual it only cancels out the 15second imobaliser and puts the unit into valat mode.

Was thinking the same thing about my car. i was going to start a topic on it.

Does nyone know the implications or removing the alarm assuming its switched of can the car start and run without it or does it have to be there regardless of if its switched on?

alarm has to be switched on(i have the cobra alarm and the key has to be turned to ON underneath the bonnet otherwise the whole car is immobilised if its switched off)
