When my cars warmed up - if I get into neutral - or when clutch is engaged through changing gears, my idle (if in neutral for example) seems to be set higher - and no revving will help it to drop back down. Normally sits at 900rpm, rises but r1600 when warm. If I turn my engine off, leave for 5 mins, drive again - the problem will have gone - until a few mins later when it restarts.
As for when Im changing gears it just seems like im slightly on the throttle when i change. any ideas?

oh ai, should idle in neutral at around 1500rpm when the car is in motion, idle should only settle to 950rpm when the car is totally stationary

mines 1500rpm until you come to a stand still.
