40 on the clock (dead on) will not register as speeding in a 30 zone. Ive been inside a mobile van while it was working. You have to be doing 45-50 for them to prosecute.

Could be close. 10% error in speedo gives c36mph. Allowance is say 10% + something = 34-35 possibly 36 mph.

Whereabouts was it Matt?

10% + 1. (for Norfolk anyway), although this depends on the county I think you will find, they all police it differently.

Was it a forward or rearward facing camera?

If it was forward facing and it flashed (two dull purple ones), then you've been got I reckon. If it was rearward facing and flashed (two bright white ones), then you may get away with it, as it isn't digital and relies on film; these type sometimes don't even have film in them.

Was going from fallowfield into manchester, think it was 2 bright white lights, ah well well see if a letter comes through tomoz or monday.

Theyre normally quite quick to dish out the fines from what ive heard

If you haven't heard within 14 days, you've got away with it.
