Watched it with the sound turned off. Much better without the sixties music and flood of mis-information coming out of the guys mouth. Good 3 wheels action though.

All nicely tucked up in my parents heated garage. All wrapped up in a car cover. Now with two shiny headlamp protectors from the nice people at Renault France.

Rears should be ok though with all that 3 wheelin.....

Williams 1 #0002 only 18k genuine miles from the front wheels, 15k from the rear.....

On that video he says that 0001 was written off. Is that true, was it written off and rebuilt?? He also says that Williams F1 devoloped the chassis which I know is false.

KingStromba

The prototype number 1 was written off in testing.

The other protytpe 2 wasnt, but was dismantled after it served its purpose.

Both were 16v's with the Williams alterations.

KingStromba
11-06-2005, 21:25
Apparently it was scrapped / dismantled

Enid

After you had driven it? When was that? When you took 0002 over to see it?

KingStromba

0001 is number 1 off the production line. The two prototypes were just mule cars to test parts. They were un-numbered, just called prototype 1 ans prototype 2.

So 0001 was not written off and is owned by Sir Frank, just to clarify.

How did you find 0002? Was it advertised or did you hunt it down?

It was advertised in Autotrader or something similar as i remember seeing it in someones copy at work.
Think it was up for £8k or £9k about 2 years ago.

May have been advertised, but i was given first refusal, as it was owned by a family friend.
