I'm servicing my car in the next couple of weeks, ready to give it all a go. Seems easy enough to do, oil definately needs doing. Now, I was warned off oil flush stuff, before draining and refilling. I have always done this when servicing a car, but was told to leave well alone, and just leave car running for a bit, then drain and this will be sufficient. That correct fellas?
Now, as for injector cleaner. Is there a product worth adding to your fuel tank to flush the injectors? Im sure I was warned off this too. If there is I would like to at same time as servicing. cheers guys.

Ah okay. How much did they charge you? I need to book a power test in with them, Im sure it was 40quid for power test before. Probably what I'd like to do is get the standard chip in there again, service, then get them to de clog injectors, then get power tested. So how much for them to do injectors?

On last years pricelist it was about £70.

Forte or Wynns. Don't redex it whatever you do. Buggered mine up.

I heard redex attempts to flush your injectors by using a solution with particles that are just too big for the clio, so it clogs them and feel like its running on 3 cylinders.

That's exactly what happened. I was told Redex formula has never really changed since the carb days. It knocks big chunks of crap out and that can block the injector.

I used and after a run out round the peaks it started running really rough. Deffo only 3 cylinders. Was never right after that. Only sorted the problem after replacing the injectors with used Nick Hill supplied ones.
