Spluttering when wet, any ideas?

Hey guys,

Recently got the Clio back from the garage after a 4 month rest and in the 5 days I've had it back I've had a huge grin on my face for almost every moment.

Almost being everytime it isn't wet. The problem is the car has started spluttering everytime when it's rained with the revs erratically dropping then picking up again.

Does anyone have any advice for things to look for and ways in which the problem can get fixed?

Check all aspects of the ingition system for damp, inside dizzy cap, down the plug wells e.t.c

Also suggest you look and see the ECU hasnt got wet.

My ECU got wet and spluttered ... also tripped the Relays Give it a check! :)

Thanks for the advice.

Just got home in it and it drove perfectly. I think the rare dry afternoon/evening has allowed whatever damp component was causing the mischief to dry out. It'll be interesting to see how she runs next time it rains.
