Should have asked for points rather than a ban. Your insurance will go up quite a bit with a ban on your licence.

Na insurance doesnt go up much, only by £50 and when your payin 2.5k for a year its **** all!
Could have been alot worse.

It was an unmarked cop car that got me on the motorway.

Who are you insured with mate ?

J o n
10-06-2005, 07:56
£2k at 19 is amazing when you consider that most insurance companies wont touch you until your 21. I had that problem on me first car, ut eventually after loadsa shopping around I got a good deal... now I think i'm being bent over... imo my insurance should only be £300-400 and not £700 :(

Ahhh being old(er) 26 has it advantages £404 fully comp + protected no claims

I'd never pay £2k to insure anything. Most I ever paid was £1100 on my xr3i at 19.

LOL yea but its the way of the world if i want to own a williams legally, have thought about drivin without insurance and getting a 1k fine lol! But then if i end up killin someone by hitting them in my car, even tho i would definately go to jail, at least i would have fully comp insurance etc...

Hat off to you for doing it. I'm just saying I couldn't justify it myself. More power to you for doing it though, is definately worth it. :)
