spoke to the guy and hes a thoroughly nice chap, he is in the RAF and is being posted elsewhere i think he said so doesnt have the luxury of onsight facilities anymore hence the sale, would make an awesome track day weapon!

Looks fun. Didn't meet reserve however. If anyone off here does buy it though then let me know - I think I have a few bits knocking around in the garage from my old Mi16 racer that you can have for nowt.

Yeah, I know nothing about setting up bike carbs either. :lol: Should be quite easy to just get it running on the XU9J Mi16 lump though. If you go for the earlier alu block ones then it should be 160bhp out of the box. I'd definitely invest some money in looking into what can be done about oil starvation though (XU10 oil pump upgrade?) - I blew 3 engines in 2 years!
