Ok, cheers guys!

Thats great, may make an offer on this then.

He's had it a long time so gonna put a cheeky one in!!! Plus theres no fly with it. What would these be valued at-ish? Second hand.

Cheers again.

PS - so theres no problem with the different oil pump arrangement for fitting purposes to a 16v???

hi mate as started a 710 is the same. couple of words of wisdom if its been standing in a garage outside etc bores can rust up badly. don,t buy unless your sure it will turn over nicely without nasty noise etc.
as for price about 300/400 in average so anything around 100/150 would be good.

Cheers for that maxi. Worth knowing, i'll point this out to him.

This has been standing for 3months + at least.

It has no flywheel, he wants 295 for it.

Im gonna try a cheeky £125.

I think what Brun was getting at is that the F7R-710 from the Megane Coupe 16v doesn't have a distributor as it uses a DIS coil pack and you can't fit a dizzy without taking the cylinder head off and having a boss machined to accpept one.

Doh!!

Ok, I see now.

Id probably be using a 16v head, would this get around the problem (if it is a real problem)??

16v head will fit and work no probs, all you need is the bottom end, distributor is in the head 16v works fine
