My car has been running roof for a few day now......at first it was just running on 3 cylinders/ spluttering in 5th at low revs.

Now it running very rough and on 3 cylindrs maybe less all the time (sounds like a scooby lol)

Has new plugs and leads.....my car used to have a fuelling problem?

Any ideas

Its got better but still doing it if you put your foot down

Those plugs must have been dodgy Rob ....lol

Think it may be shit in the fuel system ....how do i sort that out?

check the plug wells for a build up of oil, antifreeze and general gunk, even a small amount can cause a misfire.

wynns do a fule injector cleaner that also cleans the fuel tank iirc, quite a good product for a fiver.

My stuttering / rough driving was an ecu fault.

Winston, stick some of that Forte in with a full tank of petrol, that will clean anythin out

when did you last change the fuel filter ?

also, check the rotor arm, pull it off the dizzi and check for corrosion, check that the dizzi cap is tight and has no cracks or anythin

Im going to service it at weekend.....Ive done about 3000mile on the new engine on cheapish oil so going to do ..Oil, filter, plugs and Airbox back on

I'll stick some Forte tomorrow :D hopefully that will do the trick

Q: I have ?Total 05/40W fully synthetic...but i don't have enough only 5l, Grrr that 2.0L lol... Could i make it a hybrid by topping it up with another 10/40W fully synthetic?

if you do put the Forte in mate, make sure you follow the dilution rate on the back of the bottle
