My hybrid doesnt like it when i start it cold, it hunts bad, kangeroos if i try drive and stalls then doesnt like to start for ages after at the moment, i replaced the lamba with a brand new bosch item, its been fully serviced etc etc, its got gunnerchip and thats only thing i can think of that would effect this sort of thing?

When it stalls it wont start sometimes after unless i hold it cranking then push the go pedal down a few times.

Any ideas? Lamba still ****ed? I cleaned the iscv ages ago.

When the car has been used a fair bit it doesnt do it as much? And when its warm it doesnt do it either.

Anyone got any ideas??

i'd put money on the coolant temp sensor, if its not connected properlly or on the blink it will be confusing the ecu as to how much fuel-air to mix to compensate for it being cold etc.... and will give lambda type side affects.

i had similar and goes away when warm, my connection was a little loose, clipped it all back up after a clean and its never happened since!

Also, i have an issue with my speedo keep cutting out when im giving it beans, is that new cable?

Also, my temp guage flickers about sometimes like a fairy, electricaly because the temp wouldnt go up and down that quick lol any ideas? Is that temp sensor on the rad? or loose connection? As sometimes it stops flickering when i put my foot down?

i think the one for the dial is in the back or front of the block somewhere, its defo not on the rad, the one on the rad is the fan temp switch. Can get them from renault for around £30-40 i think for the CTS,

the speedo could be cable, but thats not an area i have experience with sadly.....

check the brown plug/sensor on the stat housing mate, thats the feed for engine temp dial! rad one is purely to cut fan on and off, its a switch not a sender!

speedo cable, check back of clocks and shove the fooker in at gearbox end hard!

i just got richy get me a new CTS, was like a tenner plus VAT or summit

Wrong,

The sensor on the underside in the middle (brown plug), is the knock sensor.

THe cold start injector is still underneath but its a blue plug and its sitautated further to the right.
