just bought a hid kit from a website, really good quality and cheap, all sets sold including the new 50w kit which is brighter again!!

hid kits are really bright as it is, 40% more will end up blinding poeple coming towards you :S

But i have xenons in 2 of my clios and deffo worth the money :D

no if the head lights are alligned right they wont blind people unless of course you go over a bump

trust me they do lol, even the normal ones i get flashed for, and they are setup using an MOT light box...

but still worth the money ;)

I paid about 150 a set for mine last year, have seen sets for like £40 though on ebay


What kelvin did you go for ? im using 6000 they are quite blue in the mirror might try some lower kelvin ones as im ordering 2 more sets soon

bugger, i;ve got a 6000k set to fit and wanted pure white, knew i shud of gine for 4300 :oops:

ah :) the 4300 are deffo the ones to go for if you want white, there is a place on ebay which sells sets for £20 + £20 postage

and will do bulk orders :)
i was tempted to buy a few sets

No chance mate.

There is shit on ebay i.e 20 quidders but the ones around the 70mark ones will be just as good. People on eBay like working for pennies.

After all, its all made in the same factory!!

Picking mine up this weekend/early next week.

the difference in quality will be the balasts, the more expensive ones will work on modern cars and wont kill the ecu, however since the mk1's dont run any diagnostics on the lights it wont make the slightest bit of difference.

the one thing i can says it the magnets ect do suffer on the build quality so with h4-3's you could have problems with full beem as it might get stuck on full or in dipped.

my current setup uses h4-4's so dont get this issue, and i have h4 and h2 on another setup.
