I do not really want to run an upper strut brace on my car as i do not want to drill the chassis.

I have located a lower strut brace for around £50 and the vendor has said that the brace fits on the rear of the wishbones in existing bolt holes and requires no drilling / welding to car.

Is there an advantage to running a lower strut brace without an upper brace?

I have looked at the rear of the wishbones, and wonder if the downpipe would be in the way, or does it sit on the top side of the wishbones and pass sort of next to the power steering rack?

Any comments? Its just a straight bar with two holes in it. Looks a piece of piss to fit. Though it might be worth a try for 50 quid. Can take it off if its shit.
