I started to remove the bit of the loom thats connects to the starter motor and this is right near the manifold....theres also a piece of rubber piping over the top of this too.....once i've removed my old melted battery cable and come round to replacing it can anyone suggest a decent high temp tape to use near this manifold area? Cheers...Matt

Look in tweeks or rally design catalogue, they do a variety of heat protection for wiring, not cheap tho

to use on fuel lines to save them from the zorst pipes .

what i meant is ,i am running a custom zorst setup which
happens to go parallel and quite close to my fuel lines
on the R9 ,being over cautious i gave the fuel lines a wrap
of that heat tape ,worked out cheaper than wrapping the exhaust lines .
