is it just me or are more and more people driving round with there fog lights on, when it isnt foggy? it really bugs me and ive started using my full beam on people with them on! theres nothing worse than coming over the brow of a hill or round a bend and someones lit up like a jumbo jet.
It says it in the highway code that there not to be used unless visibility is severely reduced and its for a reason.
It doesnt make you look cool or sporty,especially with the dipped beams on with the fogs at night! everyman and his dog is doing it, theres middle aged men in people carriers using them and it really pisses me off.

Funny, i was thinking exactly the same thing.
What really pi*sses me off is that 2 hours after owning my Williams 2 i got pulled over by the police because i had my fog lights on, by accident!! Of all the people driving with fog lights on, dont see them getting pulled over. :evil:
the cop was a real ar*e aswell... i explained i had just bought the car and was getting used to the controls, which i was but he just kept on saying "why you bought that car"....... says the one driving a mondeo, lol. :roll:
same happened to me when i had the RT was well annoyed, got a producer the same day i got the car! i think if they want to pull you its a good excuse they can use otherwise they don't give a crap!
i want some white covers for mine to match the wheels, can you buy them seperatly, i cant seem to find any??

speaking of being pulled over, i thought i would've got pulled last night, 5's up at 4am in salford in a clio williams! haha... Ahhh the crazy late night Casino trips!
i got pulled for having my fog lights on, strange thing was it was actually foggy as! i think they used it as an excuse to pull me over!
as for annoying yes it is esp when its not foggy, i find some ppl use just there side lights with fogs but what really annoys me is when idiots turn there full beam on just before you pass them at night, talk about blinding me!

Fogs don't work in foggy fog its all to bright and you just get bounce back - when its midly foggy then yes they work but then your more likely to get pulled over... :lol:
An RT was behind me the other day with fogs on - I wasn't mega bothered about the light all I could think was bless him look how close together they are :lol: :wink:

i dont see the point in uprated light kits, or the brighter lights on new cars. My standards are adequate enough and ive never felt the need for brighter lights. On streets theres street lights, and country roads you put your full beams on. the brighter ones like on audis and beemers are too bright in my opinion and are sometimes dangerous.

PIAA have come to my rescue and I can now actually see the road in front of me when a car comes the other way in the dark! :lol:
the lights on mk1 clios are crap, may aswell hang on the widnow with a lantern you would be able to see more!

Plus standard lights are absolute dog shit, period, on country roads. You cant see more than 5ft in front of your bonnet. Its called 'technology moving on'.
You dont see f1 world rally cars on night stages with standard renault h4 yellow bulbs on full beam do you!!?
