ok so i wanted a change of wheel and got hold of a set of 15" superleggeras, fitted these but wasnt to sure. they looked abit smaller than the willy wheel even tho they were the same size :? . i liked the design but thought they wold look good 1 size bigger, put a wanted post up on cs and did'nt think id hear anything as they are a rare wheel, as luck would have it 5 mins later got a reply from matty w who said his mate had a set for sale :D , few pm's and another journey up and down the m1 i have them fitted to my car. not sure which set of 15's to sell at the moment but one need to go as im abit skint lol

very nice mate, i want them but lovingly coated in powdered magnesium (the colour not the metal! :lol: :wink: )

Always liked this picture. Such a nice blue looks really nice.

I prefer the willy wheels on Jay's though

David Its always nice to see pictures of yours because the colour looks so vibrant.

After seeing that pic, I think that I might go back to normal bump strips to break up the side of the car a bit more.

Are the 16's a performance hit versus the 15s? Are the rotational circumferences the same?

when i had my 16" pro race 1.2's on they were a really low profile to keep the rotational circumferences very similar, plus mines low so didnt want any catching issues. I have since gone back to willy wheels as i managed to get some primas really cheap in great condition. To be honest, i really love the handling and comfort of the 195/50/15's when compared to either my low profile 16's or 15's. The 15's are dirt cheap for tyres too so its a great compromise.

15" willy wheel witout tyre: 7.3kg
15" leggera without tyre: 4.7kg
16" leggera without tyre: 6.5kg


15" willy wheel with 195/50/15 tyre and air : 14.8kg
15" leggera with 195/50/15 tyre and air : 13.1kg
16" leggera with 195/45/16 tyre and air : 13.7kg

Rolling Circumference biggest to smallest :

I actually really like the 15" Superlegg's.


Would look awesome in white and light as hell.
