FAO Martin / side exit / hardcore slags :)

Im making a side exit for trackday ...1/4 miling (yes im a copy cat lol) out of the pipe from my old middle section. may have some spare for you????

Im removing my back box and adding a 1ft pipe to my middle section...just got to work out how to hang it :roll:

It will be loud..... dread to think how loud yours would be Martin lol

Hmm, I've not done mine as I'm worried about losing 10kgs but also 5bhp! lol Your description sounds like yours will be very LOUD! Think I'm gonna get my willy track and poly carb windows sorted first then see....

Just take you back box off (stromba curb stylee)...And try it lol

Not sure...I've seen exhaust test where there is 4-5 bhp difference between exhausts so I'm thinking there must be something to it....could try at the strip though see the difference? Just couple of bolts is'nt it..?

Not sure if this is relevant, but I've been warned off some motorbike exhausts because they decrease the torque as they have very little back pressure.

I think with exhausts, it's a case of fine balancing between no back pressure and torque/power losses, and too much restriction and losses.

Must be some tuning/exhaust guides on the net? :?
