i've got a valver engine out of my clio i think the headgasket has gone as it had started to use a little water but the bottem end was sound and it didnt tap or anything the cams are removed the car is only on 89k

No offence but you can get fully working valver lumps for less than that!

no offence but that isnt really helping is it?a lot of the so called working engines are no good either i was just being honest its quit low miles and if someone puts a headgasket on it and a cambelt kit they've got a sweet engine

Laine was only offering some advice on getting your sale mate, after a cambelt kit etc on that engine thats £150 odd for a valver engine on 89k. Thats not low either.

They can be picked up FULLY working on the same mileage for £30.

tbh £30 - £50 sell for what you think its worth, simple as that !

I would agree tbh. At the end of the day you might get a cheaper one elsewhere but if this is local to someone they will probably be more than willing to pay the £50 as it will save them a journey.

Wow some real helpful posts there!! An engine is worth what people are prepared to pay at the time. With the 5 turbos engine were dirt cheap until they had all been blown appart then they went through the roof. Why waste the time to post a reply saying you can get a fully working engine for less? Stupid posts help no one and only lower prices for everyone!!
