New shoes for the Hybrid

Got a new set of wheels for the hybrid as ive had the willy wheels on for 2 years now and wanted a change. got hold of a mint set of oz superleggeras from kingstomba :D . gonna be keeping the willy wheels tho as i wanna fit a set of r888's for track and keep the legs for road use. few pics of old wheels and new.

Nice wheels, Lauras got a set on hers too :D

Have you noticed a change in acceleration at all mate? It completely transformed the drive of lauras car when she went from the turbines to to superleggeras! :)

that doesnt suprise me, the superleggeras are one of the lightest wheels going and turbines are one of the heavyiest ever lol

sean: as u say it completly changes the car, still not sure on them myself....

winstone: yeah i was having a look at some of lauras photos and they sure do look good oh hers but id say thats a: because it is lower making the wheels look abit bigger B: they are in white which goes very well with the 449. not noticed acc much as weather is really shit at the mo but i HAVE noticed the difference in handling striaght away, so much more responsive..

Coops: my may be able to get them sooner than u think if i can get of of a set of 16's :wink:

u need to get them painted jay, silver just doesnt do the car justice for me.

Looks so nice on williams wheels then with these on there is something missing.

Sorry jay, u need to get them either black or body colour. Or swap them over and get the williams wheels back on and keep those for occasional track use

Agree with the rest of them matey. Willy rims really set it off nicely but the leggy's just look pretty plain.

They didnt look much special on the hybrid either.

they are nice, black willy wheels is where its at tho, ive got 3 ultraleggera's atm unfortunatley, and also there 16" dont know weather to sell them and put money towards williams wheels or sling them on and use them as road Wheels and my ph2's with some nice, sticky stuff

hmm does look good lower , might have to wind the coilovers down abit and then paint the wheels white, im also on the look out for a set of 16" leggs but am not holding my breath. thanks for all the honest comments tho im still not sure what to do my self. might just refurb the willy wheel so they are uber mint, get the lips redone and touch up any little scratches etc hmmmm lol

i think if you had them in anthracite they would look well, but i do agree it dont look as good as the williams wheels do, still like the leggeras though! :)
