you need the plip thats coded to that receiver, or you need to get it all coded together at Renault, should cost you an hours labour

Only renault can do it mate. ECU needs coding to your fob-set.

Like Brun says should be no more than an hrs labour...

But they will have your pants well and truly down and bend you over that bonnet.... Need I say more....

Ive had it done 3 times this year due to sunroof leakage.

£120 every time.

They always say you need new eye, board etc so price keeps going up!!

Either do away with ur ECU (if u have a phase 2) and replace it with a phase 1 like i have done and you will have the prob no more.

Or get an aftermarket alarm. Im currently saving for this.

Hope that helps!!

some crazy ass came on here once giving some way of re-coding a key by doing 'this and that'

seemed half genuine but couldnt see how it would work tbh

Its in a post somewhere but dont know where to start looking (cant be arsed really!!).

Think it might of been under a sunroof post i posted about 4 months ago.

Maybe someone could try that (or you who's posted this topic) before tootling off to renault and them having ur pants down..!!

:o  :D
