WAS THIS PRICE HIGH OR LOW,BUT I HAD NO CHOICE NEEDED DOING ASAP,ME BROUGHT PARTS DISC'S BEARINGS'PADS=£143 LABOUR CHARGE TO FIT THEM ?

So you bought the parts yourself and they charged £143 to fit them?

That must have been 2.5 hours labour or so - seems pretty reasonable to me, but then I'm always getting robbed at garages lol

yeah.1st and last,how much roughly to fit a power steering pump labour not part

doesnt seem that over the top, but i reckon the bloke who i usually use would have charged me £80-£100 for that

in the past he has charged me £60 to do a wheel bearing, and he gets the bearing in that price aswell, he doesnt buy crap parts either

Seems like a good price to me... Getting the hubs off for bearings to be pressed out then in isn't easy if things are seized up.

Thats probably 3 hours labour for a garage.

We are talking front here yeah?

aye i have paid 180 for one bearing before :S

mr clutch the guys who like to put the breakpads on the wrong way !!!

Craig @ APD charged me £90 to do one (inc parts). SO i guess its about going rate.

Paid £85 for the one before that at a local garage i think on my first valver.
