Are the williams bushes larger in diameter? I have new 1.8 16v bottom arms and the bushes measure 40mm in diameter, the kit i have from powerflex included sleeves for the new bushes that are 45mm in diameter, which are according to northy and powerflex is for williams, but is this different than valver?

I also checked all the old wishbones in my shed, all of them 1.8 16v ones and all of them have 40mm bushes.

what size do lower model clios have, like the 1.2/1.4? were they identical to the valver stuff or smaller again?

or has my clio always had 1.2/1.4 arms on it and the company i bought the new ones off screwed me with dodgy arms from a lower clio in the hope i wouldnt notice?

any advice/measurements from other people much appreciate as am a tad confused!

Cheers

nope 16v are different to williams ones, rally design listed theirs for a williams and 16v, but didn't fit my williams wishbones.

Do need to find some williams ones though.....i'm still looking lol

Also for those who want caster adjustment you won't be able to do it with GSF wishbones as the bushes are none adjustable.

Only way to have caster adjustment is with Renault bushes.

Not sure on the Powerflex ones, but they don't look adjustable either.

with the renault wishbones the bushes can be adjusted in the wishbone to alter the suspension settings.

By pressing them in/out. So you are effectively moving the wishbone forward/backward.

cheap dodgy wishbones i got had moveable bushes in them, but they are no more now, gave in to the mallet and drift!

Where's the best place to get wishbons then, with the proper Renault bushes? Just Renault?

Unless you want/need caster adjustment then the GSF wishbones are absolutely fine.
