Has it not got a hex around the outside so you can use a socket? or is tht the gearbox drain plug?

Do you need to replace any washers or o-rings or anything when you remove the plug?

Lol, come change my oil for me :D

I am not looking forward to lying in a puddle in the pissing rain doing the oil and filter :( Bloody weather.

I have a sump key now thanks guys, from halfords.

You can get rubber sump seals now? I have a copper one here, brand new. Think I'll use that for now.

Its the other way round guys, if its the copper ones you need to replace them as they squash down, don't need to replace the rubber ones, as they just reseal next time

i meant if he was still on old copper one should upgrade to the re-useable rubber effort, but if was in a pikey mood can just reuse copper one by heatin n plunge cooling it!

I've got to pop into the local renault dealership for a filter, I'll get a rubber sump thing if I can at same time!

Cheers guys, and I think a door handle would actually fit too! Good call :D

Just ask for a sump washer for the clios with an ali sump, last time i went the coper ones were for the steel sumps and the rubber ones for the ali sumps....you'll find the washers will be used throguh most of the renault range
