hi can anyone help me when i sitting on idle the revs race up and down from idle precision (1,000 to 400 back to idle) sometimes and also when i drive it sometimes it stutters. thanks :?:

idle speed control valve? could do with a clean?

does it do it when hot or cold? or both?

sounds like idle speed control valve... really easy to clean, the valve is located in the inlet manifold, its got a pipe going into the airbox and a pipe going into manifold, sometimes it sticks, real easy to take off and spray some carb cleaner in there and use a cotton bud to help the valve move around, i think theres a guide in the members section, obviously for members only lol

do a search on icv or iscv, there will be loads of info on it

could it be the throttle precission sensor

it looks like a wire is on its way out

that is another culprit, but considering that these cost a fair bit new, i would go with the cheaper option of cleaning your iscv first 8)
