Trouble Starting

When the williams sits for over a day or so, when i try and start her it just keeps churning and makes no sign of fireing up? just the odd splutter now and again, then if i go back after a wile sume times she will start? cant under stand? used to fire up right away!!! any 1 any idea what could be wrong??

check all the main earth straps

yup, common problems are, poor earths, ignition coil - can even be fine when running but poor to start, and TDC sensor which is on top of the gearbox

Thanks, shes not starting now at all :( whats the tdc sensor?

TDC stands for Top Dead Centre I think?

theres a sensor fitted to the gearbox above the clutch that reads the flywheel rotation and triggers the coil pack/ecu
