heater fan

the other day i had heat and the fan worked from 1 to 4...now i still have heat but no fan , it trickles through whether its on 1 or 4 !!! any ideas cheers

check fuses then the plug in the scuttle as these tend to fail due to corrosion or melting. then if these appear ok try the fan rheostat as these also fan..

Most likely the plug under the scuttle panel.
Give it a wiggle and see if they come back on.
If they do, close the connections up on the plug using a small screwdriver.

Could also be the plug behind the heater controls. I have had the same problem, replaced the connector under scuttle which had melted and this lasted a few months then the one behind the fascia also melted, obviously a Renault design fault :twisted: as its very common. If the resistor pack has failed the blower still normally works on full speed only.
