Hopefully getting a 16v engine over the next week or so to bung into my RT.

Great stuff altho i have concerns over the wiring...IIRC the brown plug connections can be different between rt and 16v?

What i wan't to know can this be solved by matching looms by phase (i.e. my RT is a phase 2 so i'll need a phase 2 16v ngine loom)? Or is it a case of sticking it in...i.e. difference can occur despite the phases being the same/random like a lot of clio stuff?

Hi mate, in the end it all just plugged in fine, there are some variations in the wiring but assumed these were the oil clocks etc.

The main difference on the loom I found was the fuel pump wire, this was a thick white wire, match it to the right spot in the mating brown plugs and you'll be fine.

Been reading through your topics - did you work out if the white plug did anything important in the end or should i only be concerned with the brown one?

never worked out what the white plug did, never affected anything and all gauges were fine!
