looking at lowering springs, most list the 16v/willy as the same lowering spring

however, looking at a brand called Cobra (priced higher than the likes of G-max etc) they list a 30mm spring for the 16v, AND a 30mm spring for the Williams, different part numbers

what would the difference in the two actually be ?........ive got Williams shocks on mine

Spax also list seperate Williams springs which they say lower 40mm, whereas the Valver springs lower 35mm

If you lower the front end of a williams it will catch on the arches.

i thought the springs were identical between the two cars so i,m not sure mate.

the fitment is the same, but as mat said a lowered williams will scrub!

so does the williams sit lower than a valver ?

i always thought they were the same

if i wanted to lower my willy setup less than 30mm on the cobra springs, would i fit the 30mm valver ones then ?

the williams is wider and the tyres can scrub on the wings, remember 16v has rc car suspension!

so is the ride height the same ?

in which case, why would the springs be different ?

im already lowered 35mm on my widetrack and if i bought new springs id go for 30mm ones to sit ever so slightly higher than it is now

ive had a reply from Spax, they say there willy springs are 20mm shorter than the valver springs they do

now if the willy springs lower 40mm and the valver springs lower 35mm, what does that make the difference in normal ride height of the cars ?

does that mean the willy sits 15mm lower as standard ?
