Shame I dont have any good pictures of the 16v, as I didn't have it long. Changed to a Raider Turbo after 8)

Yea, my girlfriend had serious back problems afterwards. Also, her sister is a solicitor specialising in that field of law. They settled out of court for her for 22k, and me 1.5k as I only had a bit of whiplash.

Back then, the car was worth about 9k or so. It was repaired, not written off.

Hate the way this country is going, suing every cunt, will be like USA soon.

Anyone hear that story about the woman in USA who fell over her own son in a furniture store and sued the store and won!

I have shown my piccies here to talk about cars, not really to debate whether people should receive compensation for injuries caused by the appalling driving of other people.

One thing I would say though: If someone smashes my car up and I can't work for three years, I'd like to think I could get some kind of compensation for that.

I do however agree that people in the USA are a bunch of jokers with the ridiculous payouts and cases they bring to courts. The UK is no way near like them, common sense generally prevails and Judges are not in my expereince, idiots.

Compensation over here is fair enough, nothing like the states! i had a bike accident four years ago, got knocked off by an elderly gent, after that for phsycological reasons i couldnt get back on a bike, plus i could not work as i had rather badly hurt my legs, even when i did return to work i couldnt do half the hours and half as much work, i was run down, depressed and had an aching knee for well over a year, still gives me jip now tbh! i was offered 4.5k for that out of 9k (50/50) i wasnt in the wrong but couldnt handle the stress no more,
Compensation Try's to compensate, but unfort memories do not go away and neither do some physical ones, if i could have not been knocked off my bike and not had the 4.5k i would have
God i miss my kr1

lol. Sorry, I think it's a knee-jerk response after having a hard time off other people the last time this got brought up. I shouldn't have mentioned it, my fault.

My avatar, aye, bit weird eh? I THINK he is a pink muppet-man doing a little groovey dance thing :D
