i thought wilst driving my valver at lunch,then parked up i saw smouldering smoke coming from my exhaust ? any idea's was not normal exhaust fumey smoke

could be water evaporating from the hot surface, some oil or grime got on there and is simply evaporating with the heat, i wouldnt worry about it mucka

Could be your spark plug cover melting itself?
Or maybe a leak from the rocker cover leaking down onto the manifold.

I did that on the way to an mot once with a headlight rear cover - I drove into the garage smoke coming out bloody everywhere! thought they were gonna fail it before it had even been booked in! :lol:
