How many litres of fluid will I need to refill the power steering system from empty?

I am going to give it a good flush and then refill with new in the next couple of weeks, any recommendations on type or will reno stuff do the job?

I'll post some pics of mine in a bit. Never get any spillage any more, after modification.

Heres the pics. Basically all I did was get a short length of flexible rubber washer hose. Drill the breather hole bigger in the reservoir cap to except the hose (tight fit required) . Run the other end of pipe into another container. I used an old small brake fluid container. Drill one larger hole in the lid to except the pipe and 1 very small hole to act as the new breather in what is effectively now the overflow bottle.

When the bottle starts to fill up you just drain it back into the system. It doesnt stop the system overpressurising but it does stop any mess under the engine bay.

They only tend to spill over under constant high rpm use. Hence why Stromba gets no problems.
