Im going to rap my Williams manifold and I have a few questions:

how much will I need ?
Should I rap my down pipe ?
Is it worth it ?

Thank you :D

Used about 70ft of 2" thick stuff on my supersprint, right down to the cat joint

Dont bother.
Get it ceramic coated for roughly the same price.

Lunner, is the superpsrint manifold better than 16V/Williams/Megane manifold? (Is there any plus torque at low and / or high RPM?)
Thank you!

Dunno, never had a std one on this engine

I have mine ceramic-coated. IMHO, I don't think there's much performance gain. But the coating does help in the longevity of the manifold, as my coated manifold looks in good nick compared to the uncoated downpipe. I only measured a few degrees improvement sticking a thermocouple into the rain-catcher on the bonnet.

OTOH, with the thermal wraps that I have seen on other cars, I can literally hold the wrapped pipes when it's operating. I would think that should account for a significant drop in engine bay temperature.

i'm thinking bout wrapping my valver manifold and maybe the front pipe to reduce engine bay temps, would this be ok on a valver manifold and is there any other benifits other then reduced temps coz the ebay add says bhp gains, cant really see any other gains happening.
