Rite everybody...
I am halfway through producing my mould for my fiberglass and carbon bootlids.
Its taken a lot longer than i thought. Hoping they will cost £150 each and produce a nice weight saving for anyone that fits them.
Just a skin so far!
If it wobbles too much when i pop one out i will renforce with balsa wood or foam or similar to keep the weight down but get some regidity back into it.
Will take some pics tonight.
Andy
why bother with these when i can already buy them in fibreglass done for
Weight 5.00 Kgs
Price: £139.83 (€ 206.95)
including VAT £20.82
from fast car. the carbon ones maybe buy the cost might be prohibitive.

well its a rought price.. im sure i can price them to beat that!
Carbon i woud just have to get people to pay for the materials.. eg extra £40 or so.
just thought i would let you know before you spent time and money mate.

yeah no worries...
(any news on the studs ;))
The boots are for me to play with and the main venture is bonnets and other clio bits in carbon.

i cant give away all my ideas!
more likely to be door cards.
Doors are too hard to fit etc etc.
maxiboy - you have to add delivery onto that though..?
yeah but andy will have to deliver his at 150 quid also. i was just stating that it would be better to concentrate on carbon or bits that weren,t available elsewhere.
