nothing to right home about. think the crank has moved on a little.

yes mate due to a smaller port head with bigger valves and a different manifold. nothing to do with the bottom end

I think the only diff with the bottom end is the oil pump is driven by a chain internally rather than by the cam belt.

think some late models were driven like that and the oil pump drive became just a pulleys

714 was chain driven like the F4R's.

more than the f7p by a long way! lol, think my bottom end is a 710, shaft driven oil pump, Valver pump, valver sump and dipstick, all swapped over perfect

both 714 and 710??

what bits are swappable between the 700 and 710/714?

crank/pistons?

oil pump (700 & 710)

all the same..its the 714 thats diff, it has the oil pump driven by chain off the crank rather than off the pulley off the timing belt.

as for which is best..not much in em tbh.

std f7r 700 a ....well with zorst mods ;) 1/4 14.6

completely rebuilt f7r 710 .with zorst mods and cams ( no map) 14.4 with remap 14.0

btw the willy lump had about 75+k on the clock, the meg lump was on 25k before the rebuild. its loosened up nicely now lol, having done around 30k+ since, in several spec of top end.

same crank/pistons...rods the same on 710 and 700.....714 same as F4R, tho critical dimensions on all are the same. The later ones are skinnier.
