Right...

I have a 1.2 mk1 ph3 clio which i am putting a Renault 5 Turbo lump in.

What brakes should i run, cause im warey of the standard items being powerfull enough to stop me so far ive thought

Valver brakes... But will this make the front track wider?

R5 GTT brakes... what size are they will they be much hassle to fit

Or somthing off of a 2.0 laguna etc ... just a question of will they fit?

Please help or any other suggestions!!

i went with valver brakes on mine

IIRC some/all GTT's use the same caliper but a smaller disc, though i may be totally off with that, my GTT knowledge seems to have left me

valver breaks would be your best bet!

Brakes won't affect the track.

The ones you want depends on the rims you are using.

13" wheels will only take GTT brakes (same as RSI/1.9 diesel vented/megane rt/some laguna).

14" or above you can get 16v brakes on.

The 16v calipers are identical to the ones listed above (but have larger carriers to sace them out on the disc) so either will be sufficent for what you are wanting.

So are the the 16v Calipers a straight swap for my 1.2 ones?

ie do they go on the same carriers, is it as easy as just swapping?

Thanks

you'll need the carriers and calipers and they would bolt rght on the hub
