Hiya Rod! It's Alex here, the lad you kindly showed you maxi to with the mrs!

Been meaning to PM you to find out how you got on - sorry to hear you went out so soon.

Mike ended up retiring on saturday afternoon - he had problems with his slave cylinder on his new lexus box. Shame, as he was leading his class quite convincingly.

You ever posted pics of your car up here? I'm sure the likes of Maxiboy would like to see it - got a few good pics when we came to see it.

We went speccying on saturday night by dervaig, but only saw a few of the top guys before there was a bad smash and stage was cancelled :(

Cool, pics would be good!

Thanks again for showing us both the car! Nice bit of kit you got there!

The slave cylinder went on it - it somehow kept on getting stuck. He had problems at the end of friday night, but got a push by speccys after MTC, and just rolled down the hill into Tobs!

They figured it only happened on the road stage - so put a nut behind the pedal so that it wouldn't get full travel. However, on the first calgary stage, it went just after the flying finish. This time it stuck in though, so they couldn't even start it in gear 'coz the clutch was constantly disengaged.

For those reading this, hear's a couple of pics of the car in question:

haha me too watched that bit about 4 times! he caught it pretty early too. 8)

good vid i love watching rallying, its a shame that the new televised stuff is so full of money and boring modern cars, no character to it imo
and that anglia is sweeet
