Stretched clutch cable for 3rd time please help!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

Where do i start, had 1st clutch cable stretch in may then another 1 in june and now its just happened again!!!!!!!!!

My clutch is fine (had it checked) and put in brand new pedal assembly also been using genuine renault cables.

Got picked up by RAC man and he says not seen nothing like it before and that it seems the cable is of poor quality,

Plz see pic attached and advise, the bit circled in red is where its become all ruched up.

Thanks for any help cos pulling my hair out and dont want get shot of me car just for this stupid thing

What clutch cable are you using? Are you using a genuine renault cable?

Are you running an uprated clutch or anything? Looks like there's too much strain on the cable perhaps?

Make sure the cable is routed correctly - I have had a couple snap on me before, due to the strain put on them when not routed properly through the pedal assembly

Theres only 1 way the cable can go into the pedal assembly
