Looks a bit 'marked' to me, not grooved to the touch, but straited with dark stains and a few 'sploges'

this isnt a problem is it? can they be refaced aswell as its an uprated plate and not really wanting to fork out for a new one!

If your making a tubby,

I rekon your friction plate will have a hard time trying to keep a grip when the Turbo kicks in...

tis an uprated one lewis mate, sure std one wud slip like fook, altho dont know?

its got a couple of heat spots on it, but theres no warping or anything or grooves or anything so i'm going to use it i think, cant afford a new one anyway at the min, if it slips i'll take it off when i can afford new un!lol

its not worrying too much mate, its just trying to make sure the car not only runs but is reliable after each job i do. so i look into all options as i havent got the time or patience to rip it apart quickly as i have too much to do as it is

think it has a stronger set of springs so increases the clamping pressure on the clutch plate. thats why they feel heavier under foot
