Djw Daves Turbo Clio Reincarnation Project thread

Well as Im sure some of you are aware Djw Dave and myself built a 1.7 Turbo Mk1 Clio recently which he used with much fun for far too brief a time until some scummy b*****ds broke into it, stole plenty and damaged it.

How it started about 3 years ago iirc

All ran well for a month or so on the run up to FCS, then the alternator died, no worries we thought. Took it to Daves work and left it in the yard. Obviously someone liked the handywork and decided to break into it :(

So now we've decided its too good a shelll and had to much time and money spent on it to scrap it so its track time for it now! We dont like to do things by half so heres whats happening now!

Pretty much just some wiring to come out once we've figured out what we can lose!

Due to the break in damage we've had to replace the door, figured may as well start lightening it!

FK Konigsports mate, seen under 10000 miles but they are RT fitment

Been down the workshop for another couple of hours today, not in any huge rush obviously!!

Did some more weight loss stuff and fitted a new wing to replace the old damaged one, still to finish tidying up the door and then we'll get that on as well for a properly multi coloured car!!
