After going there for btcc a few weeks ago, am thinking about going up there for a trackday, looks cheap enough and there is a premierlodge with pub. maccy's, pizza hut and frankie and benny's nearby less than a 10 minute drive away!! Track is best described as a bigger version of Anglesey pre facelift and with a first corner similar to Paddock Hill at Brands but steeper and with a left at the bottom to make it more fun! Plus another track to tick off the UK list. Anybody else interested???

You can book direct with Knockhill mate, this will probably be cheapest or we can see if any of the track companies will be running anything there next year

Yeah but think of the extra cost of fuel and driving hours getting to the ****er, i'd rather pay more for a track day an hour away at donnington or combe

I would possibly be interested as I'm fairly near by. I've not done a track day before but have to start sometime  .

There was talk before about booking the track for a williamsclio trackday iirc we needed 25 people, would anyone be interested in doing that? If so I could probably get a few others along if more numbers were needed.

are we holding a book on whether andys car will be ready or not?? hehe.

could also posibly be in on this one. will knock another track off the 'to do ' list. reno uk may be doing it next year tho too, they having a bit of a do there soon, £10 for 20 mins or summat, tis cheap tho . and run in bewtween the clio cup races etc. might be worth seeing if they doing it again next year.

I doubt reno would do a "proper" trackday at any other circuit than the palmer tracks as they make quite a loss as it is due to attendance figures being so low, as it is they get a good discount from palmer because they supplied all the new cups for their training schools.

sorry my bad.......tis croft reno are doing.

i doubt reno would be worried about losing less than the value af a 197 tho tbh. the loss at these events is probably put down to entertaining anyway so will be good for them in the long run for tax issues.

they not exactly short of a bob or 2.

woohoo we have edit back ;)
